NDS Zero Tolerance Framework Workshop

NDS is pleased to offer in house Zero Tolerance workshops within your organisation.
Zero Tolerance is an initiative led by NDS in partnership with the disability sector. It assists disability service providers to understand, implement and improve practices, which safeguard the rights of people they support. It is through this commitment that NDS made the Zero Tolerance resources readily available to our sector.
During this workshop, we will cover:
- an overview of the Zero Tolerance Framework:
- Understanding abuse
- Preventing abuse
- Considering additional risks
- Responding to abuse.
- available resources to educate and train staff at all levels;
- good practice models working collaboratively within and outside the disability sector to prevent and respond to abuse.
Each participant will receive a certification of attendance.
Duration: approx. half day and full day (can be tailored as required)
Participant size: Minimum 8, maximum 40 (additional participation can be negotiated on request)
Cost: Half day: NDS Members $2,000 plus GST, non-members $3,000 plus GST
Full day: NDS Members $2,935 plus GST, non-members $4403 plus GST
10% discount applies to two half-day workshops facilitated on the same day
All workshops are co-facilitated by the NDS Practice Support Network.
*Workshops outside of metro Melbourne will incur reimbursement of travel time capped at $600 plus GST, travel and accommodation costs. These costs will be invoice at cost after the workshop.
